Emily's dance journey began at the age of 5 with Dance Discovery, igniting a passion that has fueled a remarkable career. Her extensive training spans Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Stretch, Conditioning, and Improvisation, all of which she passionately imparts to her students. Since the age of 15, Emily has been devoted to igniting her students' love for dance. Her choreography has garnered numerous accolades, including judges' choice awards, overall high scores, top Acro scores, top choreography, and awards for being the most entertaining and most inspiring. She has brought her creative vision to music videos, Toronto Kids Fashion Week, and charitable events.

 

Emily's teaching experience includes leading dynamic drop-in classes across Toronto, showcasing her versatility and flair. Her performance credits are equally impressive, featuring live shows with artists like Bulow, Pavlo, and Blake McGrath, as well as collaborations with 'Dance Moms' stars and renowned talents such as Derek Piquette. Her stage presence has graced numerous shows, plays, and events across Brantford, Toronto, and Niagara Falls.

 

Emily has trained under some of the most influential figures in dance, including Brian Friedman, NappyTabs, Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, and Travis Wall to name a few. Her educational journey includes prestigious institutions like Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance Centre, Millennium Dance Complex, City Dance Corps, Studio North, and Underground Dance Centre. She holds a Dance Performance Diploma from Centennial College and is certified in Artistic Dance Educators - Acro, Alixa Flexibility, Canadian Dance Leadership Institute Adjudicator, Zumba, and CIRCL Mobility. As an active member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, Emily’s extensive training and diverse qualifications reflect her unwavering commitment to inspiring and sharing her passion for dance.
